The Wave is situated at 2 Whitham Rd, Sheffield S10 2AH. The Wave is the newest large building in the University of Sheffield's Estate, designed as a world-class Social Sciences building that brings together teaching and research from across the faculty, and available for use by all the University.
The Wave was designed to provide an improved learning environment for students through its new collaborative teaching and social spaces, hosting a wide range of disciplines under the same roof for the first time. The building has also become a research hub, bringing together cross-cutting research centres to address key global challenges.
Informal Space
Workroom 1 is available throughout the conference as a dedicated quiet space, available if a break from the conference is needed, or as a place for quiet work.
If a meeting space is needed, then there are meeting booths available on the first floor.
There is also lots of available informal seating in and around the ground floor of The Wave and the Café.
